The Reason to Travel

I’ve become a frequent traveller ever since coming to Shanghai. My heart longs for every opportunity to wander and get lost in a foreign city. My body longs for every sensation of vision, smell and shock. It’s like a spell, cast on the lonely traveller.

But behold: no longer is the traveller lonely. He was befriended by strangers from myriad of places: a soldier in service for the country, an office lady and a local from the land of ethnic minorities. He was disturbed by the fact that friendship can penetrate the line between reality and the virtual world. He was shocked by the closeness evolved between people who started as practically strangers.

He missed them.
